Khairatabad Ganesh 2014 image , theme & construction details are informed us by Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi members. 2014 Ganesh Chaturthi Navaratri utsavams are 60th year of celebrations for Khairatabad Vinayaka.


It is to note that Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations will begin on August 29 in 2014 and conclude on September 8th with Ananta Chaturdashi Ganesh Nimajjanam.
‘Sri Kailasa Vishwaroopa Maha Ganapathi’ is the theme of Khairatabad Ganesh 2014 idol for this Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations. The organisers are very keen and particular about this year’s celebrations since This is the first festival after Telangana has emerged.

Theme of Khairatabad Ganesh 2014:

On this grand occasion, the Samithi has picked up the theme of ‘Sakutumba Saparivara Sametha – Shiva Paraivaram’. The mammoth setting of the pandal will have an innovative theme this year. Lord Ganesha idol will be of 60 feet height and 28 feet in breadth.
As per the model picture of the huge Ganapathi idol which the committee has released on 29 June, the Ganesha idol will have five heads including two heads of Shiva and Parvathi Mata. Vinayaka stands on a Kamalam (lotus) with ten hands. The idol will have seven serpents around the heads. Above all these, the idols of Kumara swamy and Lord Ayyappa would be designed. The left part of Ganesha is dedicated to Siddhi and a lion whereas the right part to Buddhi and a Nandi (bull).
The left side of the Pandal will have the idols of Kalyana Lakshmi Narasimha swamy and the right portion will concede Durga Mata.
According to the sculptor, architect or designer of Khairatabad Ganesh Sri Rajendran, after the completion of entire pandal, it looks like the real Kailash.

  • The committee members extended their greetings to all the people of Telangana that it is a joyous occasion to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee celebrations as first Ganesh Chauturthi utsavam in separate state of Telangana.



  • As like every year, this year also Mallibabu of Suruchi Foods, East Godavari district (Andhra Pradesh) will prepare the mammoth Laddu.
