But a noted studio has spilled the beans that masculine hero Hrithik Roshan is being paid 50 crores for playing the lead in Ashutosh Gowariker's latest movie 'Mohenjodaro'. They say that the Krish and Agneepath star is allotting almost a year of dates for this historical flick that is set in ancient backdrop. Hrithik will not be taking share in movie collections or any rights, but he will be given the payment in instalments, the report says. This literally makes him the first ever hero in India to get such a fat paycheck.
Director Ashutosh has earlier delivered hits like Lagaan and Jodha Akbhar, and he is now on high spirits to deliver yet another period drama that could shake box office. Hrithik has recently scored a blockbuster with Krish 3 and he is awaiting the release of movie 'Bang Bang'. This combination is surely lethal.
