Preview: SSC Yesterday exam



Khammam Staff Reporter adds: 

As many as 35,226 candidates, both regular and private, appeared for the first language paper-I of the SSC examinations, which began in a total of 181 examination centres in the district on Wednesday.

A total of 227 students were absent on the first day of the SSC examinations.

The School Education Department in association with the allied government departments and agencies made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations in all the 181 centres across the district.

District Educational Officer K. Ravindranath Reddy conducted surprise inspections in various examination centres, including the Ricob Bazaar School in the town.

As many as 10 flying squads were pressed into service to prevent malpractices in the SSC examinations in the entire district.

Karimnagar Special Correspondent adds: 

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations got off to smooth start in 274 examination centres in the district on Wednesday.

Against a total of 63,128 students, 62,785 have appeared in the examination and 343 students had abstained.

District Education Officer K. Lingaiah said that the flying squads had inspected 85 centres in the district and examinations went off peacefully.

Sangareddy Staff Reporter adds: 

The SSC examinations commenced in the district on a peaceful note.

According to District Education Officer A. Rajeswara Rao, 99.54 per cent students i.e, 43,428 students out of the total 43,628 students, attended the examination.

Two invigilators were relieved from thier duties at the district headquarters and Ramachandrapuram on Wednesday due to negligence of duties.

3 Booked for Malpractice

Three candidates however, were booked for malpractice at Kagaznagar, Utnoor and Indervelli.

District Collector M. Jagan Mohan visited the Government Girls High School, Adilabad and Government High School, Ichoda, as part of the inspection.
