Earlier, no change in the exam date was permitted, however, the authorities at BITS Pilani took into consideration that many candidates were facing a genuine clash of examination dates. Such candidates, having a valid reason for change of exam date, were permitted to apply by May 10 for change of test date.

The candidates who have been allowed to alter their date of examination will now appear for BITSAT on May 28. The exam on the revised date will be held at different BITSAT 2015 centres. The candidates who did not require any change of date will appear for the examination on the date already chosen by them, between May 14 to 29.

BITSAT is an entrance exam for admissions to integrated first degree programmes at BITS Pilani campuses in Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa. It is a computer based exam and is conducted online.

Students holding an international passport and having a valid SAT score can also take admission into BITS, under the 'International Students Scheme'.
