Telangana Principal Secretary BP Acharya appealed to all the hostels, resorts and restaurants to conduct food festivals with Telangana cuisine, illumination and special decoration to their properties as part of Telangana State Formation Day celebrations from June 1 to 7.
During an interactive meet with stake holders of Tourism sector held at Tourism Plaza here on Tuesday, Acharya said special emphasis should be given for preparation of Telangana Ruchulu (Telangana delicacies) during the celebrations.Since, Hyderabad was declared as the second best visited city for the year 2015 by the National Geographic Traveller Magazine, he requested the stake holders to have a special focus on preparation of Hyderabad Biryani, Haleem and Kababs to attract large number of visitors and also to have a greater mileage for the tourism promotion he added.
Acharya also suggested the awards for the best decoration for the Telangana Cuisine is proposed to have a healthy completion among stake holders. He said that a film developed on Hyderabad to promote Tourism should be screened and cultural events should be organised in all the Hotels during the festival to attract the tourists.
