Traffic restrictions for Telangana Day fete:
In connection with Telangana State Formation Day celebration at Tank Bund on Sunday, traffic will be restricted between 6pm and 10pm. The traffic coming from Secunderabad towards Tank Bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan - Bible House towards Kawadiguda - Lower Tank Bund. Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma and Kawadiguda side towards Children park - Tank Bund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Tank Bund will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat on to the Telugu Talli flyover - Kattamaisamma.
Motorists between Nallagutta junction to Buddha Bhavan will not be allowed. Traffic coming from Telugu Talli towards Tank Bund will be diverted at Ambedkar Statue towards Liberty.
All the invitees with A, B, car passes can come to the parking places from Secunderabad via Kawadiguda or Telugu Talli flyover, Kattamaisamma and reach Lower Tank Bund parking lots and C car pass invitees can come from Necklace Rotary and Karbala Maidan for their alighting point at Buddha Bhavan.
'A' car pass invitees should alight at Mosque or Kawadiguda when they are coming from Secunderabad and they should park vehicles at Dhobighat and proceed by walk to the venue. When they coming from Kattamaisamma also they will alight at Mosque and their vehicles will be parked at Dhobighat and proceed by walk to function place.
'B' car pass invitees should alight at Mosque near DBR mill and park their vehicles at Snow World and proceed by walk to function place.
'C' car pass vehicles alight at Buddha Bhavan and park vehicles from Buddha Bhavan to Nallagutta facing towards to Rotary and they will proceed by walk to the place of function.
After the function is over all the A, B, C, car pass holders will proceed to their respective alighting places and retreat. No invitees cars will be allowed without valid car pass and all are advised to display their car passes. The vehicular Traffic coming from Liberty junction towards IT lane and BRK Bhavan, GHMC Y junction will not be allowed towards Telugu Talli and they have to proceed towards Telugu Talli via Ambedkar statue.
All the artists coming from various districts by buses will alight at Lumbini Park and send buses for parking at NTR stadium. After completion of program, the artists have to board their respective buses and retreat via Children's park, DBR mills, Vaartha lane, NTR stadium.
For the general public, parking places have been identified at Makhta, Helipad lane, Doctors' parking and NTR stadium.
