The Telangana government would conduct a grand event at the picturesque Hussain Sagar Lake here on June 7 to mark the conclusion of Telangana state formation day celebrations.
The event, to be attended by about one lakh people, would be held from 7 to 9 PM, a state government release said.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to make befitting arrangements for the event, it said.
Special Events On June 7th:
- Lazer shows,
- Fire works,
- 3D lighting, Entertaining shows on motor cycles and horses would be part of the events.
Laddus will be distributed to about one lakh people on the occasion, it said.
Various events are being held as part of the formation day celebrations since June 2.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister called on Governor E S L Narasimhan today.
The meeting came against the backdrop of the arrest of a TDP MLA for allegedly trying to bribe a nominated MLA in connection with the MLC elections.
