The English Language Training Centre (ELTC), District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) and Forum for English Language Teachers (FELT) jointly organised a workshop on ‘Prospects in Online Courses’ for English teachers at DIET on the outskirts of Karimnagar on Monday.
A total of 40 teachers selected from various government schools in the district participated in the workshop and had the firsthand experience of using technology in improving the English language teaching skills.
They were empowered on the use of internet for upgrading their skills and help students learn better.
The participants also interacted with the Directors of SCERT Jagannatha Reddy and P. Jani Reddy through Skype.
DEO S. Srinivasa Chary, DIET Principal V. Lalitha Devi, ELTC Head of Department Ch. Pradhyumna Kumar and others were also present.
